Introduction
In posts 37, 38 and 41 I have explained that science is a strategic and therefore continuous process with its corresponding aspects.
Also evolution can be considered a strategic, continuous process. In this post this similarity between science and evolution and how they relate to each other will be discussed.
The universal transformation process
The universal transformation process (see post 41) is continuous, it has no beginning and no end: there is no evidence whatsoever that the alleged Big Bang was not preceded by a Big Crunch. As explained in previous posts a zero entropy state and a singularity cannot exist in the first place.
What happens n space is possible in space, through the universal transformation process. Nothing cannot happen in space.
We form part of the universal transformation process. Even the dinosaurs still form part of this continuous, capricious process.
The evolutionary development of brains scientifically tells us “We are our brains” (Dick Swaab). Study that scientific work!
In this context I love to add the late Christopher Hitchens’ words “Yes I have free will; I have no choice but to have it”.
Naturalistic fallacy
If the strategic process requirements are not respected enough scientific development(s) might get lost in a naturalistic fallacy/impasse, meaning that they have to start from basics again or become obsolete.
Also in evolutionary developmental processes, tackling issues, failing to adapt to natural selection requirements might lead to different developments or to a situation consistent with an impasse.
Conclusion
Also a chimp, tackling an issue (post 37), like using a twig as a tool to fish for termites/ants to eat, forming part of the continuous universal transformation process (post 41), in his/her developmental evolutionary process, is a scientist in his/her own right.
Update (June 27, 2024)
In principle all scientific publications are drafts.
Update (December 4, 2024)
The transition from Ice-age to Melt-age goes back to around 11.000 B.C. or to an approximately 120 meters lower sea level; a further sea level rise of about 60 meters is to be expected.
It follows that elevation maps are vital to tackling the climate issue.
Update (January 1, 2025)
We are our brains (see above). Our brains do not differ in color.
Update (February 5, 2025)
The universe is not so much finite or infinite, it is definite.
Update (August 5, 2025)
Brains love to be challenged. In the continuous developmental evolutionary process of science the idea of the “Theory of Everything” being reachable is unscientific.
